Biography

Matt Harkey is an assistant professor in the Department of Kinesiology at Michigan State University. Harkey is a musculoskeletal researcher whose goal is to identify people at increased risk for knee osteoarthritis to better target interventions that prevent the onset or progression of disability. His research uses an interdisciplinary approach to understand early osteoarthritis using techniques from biomechanics, biochemistry, structural imaging and epidemiology.
