Samantha Lam is an assistant professor in the Department of Teacher Education. She is a former elementary school teacher and elementary school principal with a combined seventeen years in the field. Lam specializes in teacher preparation and K-12 administration. Her research and interests focus on best practices in literacy and math education that promote learning for all students, educational leadership in the K-12 setting, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and urban education.
