Dr. Matt Harkey is an Assistant Professor of Kinesiology at Michigan State University and Co-Director of the Athletic Injury & Rehabilitation (AIR) Laboratories. His research focuses on early detection and prevention of osteoarthritis following knee injury, integrating biomechanics, ultrasound imaging, and patient-reported outcomes. Through this work, Dr. Harkey aims to transform recovery pathways after ACL injury and reduce the long-term burden of osteoarthritis in young, active populations.
