The ECHO Lab is housed within a 700 sq ft space on the campus of Michigan State University. It features a variety of equipment to assess cardiovascular health both a rest and during exercise. Key equipment includes portable ultrasounds with vascular and cardiac probes, a stress echobed, non-invasive pulse tonometers, photoplethysmographic sensors, blood pressure devices (beat-to-beat, auscultatory, oscillometric and ambulatory), and data acquisition and analysis stations. The space also features a meeting area and graduate student workspaces. Exercise equipment including treadmills, cycle ergometers,  metabolic carts and 12-lead ECG are available down the hall from the ECHO Lab in the Human Energy Research Laboratory.
