What brought you to the ISYS?
I have been involved in ISYS for around six years. When deciding on a Master’s program, I selected Michigan State because of the Institute; I wanted a space that combined the research and applied aspects of working in youth sport.
What are some highlights of your time in the ISYS?
One highlight was being on the planning committee for the Midwest Sport and Exercise Psychology Symposium. I had attended this regional conference in previous years and was thrilled to work with other ISYS students to plan and host this event at MSU. Other highlights were all the community outreach events we had over the years. I really enjoyed collaborating with ISYS students to develop workshops and presentations for local athletes and coaches.
