OISE in MI & USA

Teaching & Learning Chinese

In cooperation with Michigan Virtual, a non-profit online education and training corporation funded by the MI Legislature in 2000, OISE and the College of Education are working to meet the rising demand for high-quality Chinese language and culture education courses using interactive teaching methods and highly qualified instructors who are native Chinese speakers.

This includes:

  • High quality Chinese courses and learning experiences for K-12 students.
  • Professional development opportunities for both pre-service and in-service Chinese language teachers.
  • New teaching resources for teachers and schools, as well as consultations with existing teachers and school districts.
