College of Education Global Curriculum Fellowship
Attention: Doctoral
The Office of International Studies in Education is pleased to announce requests for applications for the next cohort in the Global Curriculum Fellowship program. The goal of the program is to enhance curriculum in the College of Education in ways that support global competence of both faculty and students.

  • Eligibility: Doctoral students who are in good academic standing in any College of Education doctoral program and can demonstrate satisfactory progress toward their degree. Students must be enrolled through fall semester 2023 and spring semester 2024 to be eligible.
  • Requirements include participating in a community of practice seminar series and collaborating with a faculty fellow on a curriculum project identified by the faculty member. 
  • Award Amount: $3,000 ($1,500 per semester, for two semesters)
  • Apply by: Sept. 28

AERA Minority Dissertation Fellowship in Education Research
The American Educational Research Association (AERA) Minority Dissertation Fellowship in Education Research fellowship is targeted for members of racial and ethnic groups historically underrepresented in higher education. This program provides mentoring and funding support to develop research skills and conduct studies in education related fields and topics. Attend an informational webinar on Sept. 14 from 1 to 2 p.m. (register via Zoom). Learn more via AERA

Neogen Land Grant Prize
The Office of Research and Innovation is seeking applications for the Neogen Land Grant Prize. This endowed award program seeks to advance the work of an MSU graduate student whose research has the potential to contribute to economic and scientific improvements in society, with a promise of practical applications that benefit U.S. economic interests. Shari VanDelinder Endowed Fellowship
This fellowship is intended to support further research and knowledge in the areas of autism, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) or Alzheimer’s. Recipients shall be pursuing a graduate degree at Michigan State University with an area of study/research in autism, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) or Alzheimer’s. Dr. Karen Klomparens Endowment in Support of Graduate Fellowships
This fellowship is awarded in honor of Dr. Karen Klomparens, Dean of the Graduate School and Associate Provost for Graduate Education at MSU from 1997 until 2014, in honor of her unwavering commitment to graduate education. Applicants should be enrolled in masters or doctoral programs at MSU in any discipline including professional degree programs. Award amount: $2,500. Apply by: Oct. 5.
