This workshop synthesizes the pedagogical insights and recommendations of three educational researchers to support the design of courses and syllabi in doctoral education programs. The session will explore strategies for queering instruction—using deconstructive approaches to critique power, knowledge production and identity; structured pause points for critical reflection and transformative instructional practice; and approaches to unlearning traditional quantitative research methods through a QuantCrit lens. Together, these perspectives offer a reimagining of doctoral pedagogy for more just, reflexive and inclusive learning environments.
