Maryann is a second-year student in the HALE PhD program, and is a graduate assistant within the Educational Administration Department (EAD). In her GA appointment, Maryann supports the MA program in Student Affairs Administration as well as the online HALE MA program. She earned her bachelor's degree in English and her master's degree in Higher Education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Previously, Maryann worked professionally for five years as an Academic Advisor for the University of Illinois at Chicago. Maryann also has experience in academic success coaching, new student orientation, teaching first year seminars, and residence life. Maryann's current research interests center around office and organizational culture, attrition in student affairs professionals, and mid-level management and leadership.
