Each summer, the MSU Post-BA World Language Teacher Certification Programs’ (WLTCP) teacher candidates lead engaging and educational opportunities for children interested in learning Chinese-right from the comfort of home.

June 9-June 13, 2025
Session: Monday through Friday, 1:30p-3:00p
WLTCP’s one-week virtual camp for 6-12 graders only is full of fun, interactive sessions where participants will. The camp is on June 9-13 from 1:30-3:30p, Monday through Friday. Participants will:
- Learn basic Chinese greetings and words through song and games
- Participate in cultural activities
- Have the opportunity to socialize with other participants
- Gain confidence in the Chinese language in a safe, supportive space
Online Chinese Tutoring Summer 2025
MSU offers accessible, high-quality tutoring at no cost for K-12 graders who are interested in learning Chinese language and culture. No previous experience with Chinese language is necessary.
Join us from June 12-July 10, 2025 for 45-minute tutoring sessions. Slots are available between 12:30 - 4:15p on Tuesdays and Thursdays and between 10:00 a - 1:45p on Wednesdays. Note: The final session of each day is reserved for 6-12 graders only.

Participants will enjoy two weeks of personalized sessions of online tutoring. Some of the activities they may be involved in can include:
- Focused vocabulary and sentence-building practice
- Help with annunciation, pronunciation and understanding tones
- Cultural insights to enrich their language learning journey
