Jenny is an Associate Professor in the Applied Sport Sciences graduate program at MSU. She is also a Faculty Affiliate for the Institute for the Study of Youth Sports, and Co-coordinator of the MSU Sport Coaches' Summit. Her research focuses on positive youth development through sport, coach education, and modified youth sport.
KeonYoung is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Kinesiology at MSU. His research interest is to explore the influence of peers in sport and exercise context, using various theoretical frameworks.
Christel is an assistant professor in the Department of Kinesiology at MSU. Her research includes the use of mobile app technology to improve postsecondary outcomes for underserved student populations. Rocha-Beverly is the primary investigator for a National Science Foundation (NSF) grant that is prototyping gamified solutions to minimize inequities for BIPOC (Black, indigenous and people of color) and low-income high school students in postsecondary planning and opportunities. Other interests include developing technology that will enhance postsecondary outcomes for BIPOC and low-income student-athletes.
Haeyong is a doctorate candidate in the Department of Kinesiology at MSU. The central mission of his research is to advance and apply psychometric methodology to solve critical measurement challenges in applied health research.
Nick is an Assistant Professor in the Applied Sport Sciences graduate program at MSU, specializing in strength and conditioning. His research focuses on maximizing athletic performance through practical training and nutrition interventions.
Harry Jadun is the MSU Men’s Tennis coach and is in his third season as head coach. Coach Jadun has set several records as head coach including leading the Spartans, in 2023-2024, to their most team wins in program history. In the same year, the Spartans were ranked as high as No. 15 and obtained their first national title in program history at the ITA Fall National Championship. The Spartans also had their best start to the conference season in 56 years with a 6-0 record. As a former Spartan tennis player, Coach Jadun was an All-American. As a coach, he is known for creating meaningful and positive relationships with players, alumni, campus partners, and the community.
