Biography

Sara Witmer is a professor of school psychology and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. Her research focuses on educational assessment for students with diverse abilities and those from different language backgrounds. She has led multiple externally funded research projects examining issues of access and fairness in large-scale testing programs for students with disabilities and English learners, with particular attention to how students use accessibility tools and accommodations.
