Jeannie A. Patrick has lived in Michigan most of her life. She lived in the Keweenaw Peninsula for twenty years prior to accepting a position at MSU. She is an educational researcher with a particular interest in issues related to racial, gender and socioeconomic equity and diversity. Since coming to MSU, she has been part of several units in the College of Education, including the Center for the Study of Curriculum. She holds a Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Technical Communication from Michigan Technological University. Patrick is currently the Director of the Office of Research Administration, which supports faculty seeking grant funding.
