Dia de Los Muertos Ofrenda at Erickson Hall
Day of the Dead, or Dia de los Muertos, is a celebration of life and death. Join student group Rueda Latina and the College of Education DEI Office in celebrating and honoring the lives of those who have passed by contributing to our ofrenda (altar), on display on the first-floor wall in Erickson Hall across from Room 133F until Nov. 3. If you are interested in contributing to the ofrenda (pictures of a departed loved one, quotes, names of departed loved ones, etc.), email Amber Denney (denneya1@msu.edu).
GTA Lunch & Learn: Writing Your Teaching Philosophy Statement
Attention: Graduate Teaching Assistants
Oct. 26, 12 to 1:30 p.m. A teaching philosophy statement demonstrates your teaching beliefs, values, use of evidence-based teaching and assessment practices for effective instruction. Learn about recognizing your teaching values and collecting evidence of effective teaching. At the end of this session, you will have a working draft of your teaching statement, which will empower you to continue your efforts toward intentional and effective teaching. Mastering the Online Interview

Open Call: Knowing Nature Gaming Residency
The MSU Museum CoLab Studio, a division for innovation and experimentation, is seeking a team of undergraduate and graduate students to experiment with gaming in MSU Museum exhibitions.
