Exploring Extended Reality (XR) in Higher Education
Oct. 11, 1 to 5 p.m. 
Come explore how virtual reality (VR) spaces could influence the world of teaching and learning at MSU through presentations, small-group discussions, and hands-on demonstrations inside the Engage VR platform. Registration required. VIRTUAL EVENT: Learn more via MSU Libraries

Staying Strong in Graduate School: Increasing Motivation
Oct. 11, 4 to 5 p.m. 
One of the most difficult things about graduate school is sustaining high levels of motivation. Learn about specific strategies to build and/or recover sustainable motivational structures and practices in your life. RCR Workshop: Authorship, Plagiarism and Peer Review Workshop

Explore the definitions and disagreements about what constitutes an author, how conflicts are resolved, how to avoid such conflicts, and where/to whom to go for help about authorship issues. VIRTUAL EVENT:Learn more via the Graduate School

Healthy Homecoming Walk
Oct. 12, anytime between 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Education Policy Ph.D. Program Virtual Open House
Oct. 13, 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. 
A virtual event for prospective students who are interested in learning about the Education Policy Ph.D. program at MSU’s College of Education. This open house is for students that have obtained a master’s degree or students who are in an undergraduate program. VIRTUAL EVENT: Register to attend via eventbrite

Kinesiology Speaker Series: Dr. Jessica Wallace
Oct. 14, 12:30 to 2 p.m. “Started from the Top, Now We’re Here: Shifting the Foundation of Concussion Research.” Wallace’s research approach is a blend of athletic training and public health, and she studies the impact of social determinants of health on athletic training healthcare, specifically concussion. Her work aims to identify, understand, and reduce health inequities that are leading to health disparities. IM Circle, Room 137. View event information via PDF
