Each year, the Institute for the Study of Youth Sports, in conjunction with the MSU Department of Kinesiology and the Master of Applied Sport Sciences program, hosts an event for sport coaches and leaders to get an intensive and immersive experience and learn the most current information in sport science.
The Sport Coaches’ Summit is a two-part coaching event conducted by the Institute for the Study of Youth Sports with the Department of Kinesiology and the online graduate programs in the Applied Sport Sciences. Each year, experts in the field share the latest information in sport science and coaching through presentations and workshops.
The 2026 Sport Coaches’ Summit will consist of two parts: a two-hour virtual session on Sunday, February 22 from 6:00 PM–8:00 PM Eastern and in-person programming on Monday, February 23 from 9:00 AM–2:00 PM. Registration is now open!
