Qian Wu is a doctoral student in Curriculum and Instruction (Science Education) at East China Normal University. Her research focuses on innovative, interdisciplinary approaches to science teaching and learning. Wu's talk will examine a recent research project involving explicit scaffolding used to increase student understanding of Cross-Cutting Concepts (CCC).
