MSU Civil Discourse Workshop - September 2025

This event hopes to:
- Discuss civil discourse with faculty and staff
- Learn tools and strategies to promote civil discourse in classrooms and higher education settings
- Dissect and analyze moral and political issues relating to genethics and health equity
- Understand the role of free speech and academic freedom in the classroom
- Gain insight into civil discourse in action through modeling and dialogue 

Kristine Bowman, professor and associate dean for Academic and Student Affairs, will be a featured expert presenter. Bowman will present at 9am.
