Jumpstart your college career with the Early Success Scholars pre-college program. This free, fun and hybrid summer bridge program is tailored to first year incoming College of Education students (Education and Kinesiology Majors) from urban districts in Lansing, Detroit, Flint, Grand Rapids and the surrounding areas.
About Early Success Scholars
Program Dates: July 11, 2022- August 5, 2022
Fully Virtual: July 11-July 15
Fully Residential at Michigan State University July 18-August 5
What will you do?
- Get a glimpse of college life by living, learning and dining on Michigan State University’s campus for three (3) weeks.
- Prepare for college by focusing on major and career readiness.
- Earn college credits through undergraduate studies.
- Earn preferred consideration for the Early Success Scholarship.
- Accept a paid stipend upon program completion.
About Early Success Scholars
Come as strangers, leave as family. Make new friends and take part in a variety of fun, weekly activities, some of which include:
- Throw bowling and high-speed kart racing at High Caliber, Michigan’s #1 Indoor Action Park
- Summer Fun Day at Jackson Field
- Spartan scavenger hunt and much more!
