As part of this GC, you will learn about online course design, assessment, and instruction while interacting with professional colleagues around the challenges of online education, multimedia, and networking. You will learn to apply the latest theories of learning and pedagogy while acquiring skills with new multimedia and networking tools to create exciting new online learning environments. The certificate signifies that you have foundations in theories and practices of online education.

Graduate Certificate students are not eligible for federal financial aid.
You have 3 years to complete your Online Teaching and Learning Graduate Certificate. Each online course is a full, 16-week semester. You can enroll in 1 or 2 courses at a time, depending on when courses are offered.
The fastest you could complete the Online Teaching and Learning GC is 2 semester. However, most online GC students take 1 course at a time because they are working full time. Typically GC students complete the credential in 3 semesters (1 calendar year).
You and your GC academic advisor will work out the best plan for your life and goals.
