"My goal is to help families and communities of color better understand the field of special education in an unbiased but educated way so that more students can get the resources they need. Once I graduate, I plan to create a more inclusive and supportive educational space by serving as an advocate for students of color, learn how to appropriately test students for special education resources , and most importantly, be the representation that is needed in my school district here in Detroit."
