Activities:
Hybrid or Online Coursework
School Psychology (Ed.S.) participants will participate in a hybrid program—a portion of the learning experience will be in person, and a portion online. Special Education (M.A.) participants will participate in an online program.
Both models include several shared courses, completed in either degree program.
Seminar Modules
Once-per-month seminar models will include additional content and collaborative, practice-based assignments.
Networking Opportunities
Opportunities include:
- In-person welcome event
- In-person attendance at in-state professional conferences (i.e., Michigan Association of School Psychologists and the Michigan Council for Exceptional Children)
- Mentoring supports
- End of project event
Supervised Practicum Experiences
The goal of the supervised practicum experiences is for all scholars to be practicing in high-needs schools in Michigan.

Paid Tuition
The Project Hi2LD fellowship program covers tuition expenses for two semesters of your corresponding program.
Additional Funding Support
Financial support will also be provided for computer software and video recording equipment.
Travel
Travel to attended conferences and requited visits to campus (apart from required coursework) will be covered.
Finding a Job (School Psychology)
Support will be provided to School Psychology students to identify a paid position in a Michigan school during the first year in the program.
