We have several studies taking place now.
Our infant intervention study is recruiting infants with and without Down syndrome to engage in increased tummy time (1-6 months) and monthly growth and development visits during the first year of life. We hope to understand how these motor activities optimize the way a child grows and develops during infancy, toddlerhood, and later childhood.
We are recruiting children with Down syndrome or Autism Spectrum Disorder aged 1-18 years.
For this study, children would visit the lab one time while we observe their motor skill development, physical activity, and growth. We hope to better understand how motor skills and physical activity levels relate to growth during early childhood and adolescence.
