Recipients shall be Ph.D. students enrolled in a College of Education program whose research focuses on using educational technologies or Web-based resources to enhance student learning in classrooms, online courses, or online learning environments outside the classroom. Preference will be given to students whose research explores innovative uses of technologies with specific measures of learning outcomes. Students receiving this award should be in their third year or beyond in the doctoral program. The director or co-directors of the Educational Psychology & Educational Technology Ph.D. program will appoint a committee of faculty members in the program to select the student to receive the award. Faculty from other programs in the College may be appointed to the review committee in years when there are applications from other programs.
