Norman Stewart, former Counseling, Educational Psychology and Special Education (CEPSE) distinguished professor, died Nov. 29 at age 82.
For more than 40 years, Stewart served as professor emeritus of special education and education psychology. Stewart joined the faculty in 1964 and retired in 1999. He also spent time teaching overseas.
Funeral services were held Dec. 9 at Presbyterian Church of Okemos. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Freedom Service Dogs of Colorado, a non-profit that provides service dogs to disabled veterans and those with physical limitations.
