Summary

Thank you to everyone who participated in last week’s Grad Student Appreciation Week events!

Thank you to everyone who participated in last week’s Grad Student Appreciation Week events! We are sharing some highlights from our Grad Student Kudoboard below:

  • I’m so grateful for Lamia Bagasrawala in School Psychology! With her critical thinking, excellent communication, global perspective and ability to laugh at the absurd, she is a delightful addition to our community. — Jana Auperlee
  • Without my fellow students, I would’ve not have learned things I have learned in the particular way that I did, mixed with their diverse perspectives and insights. In the definition of every word written… I am grateful for each one of you. I am forever thankful. — Jason Soulje
  • To all of the mathematics education doctoral students: You are an amazing group who brings joy, immense knowledge and experiences, and inspiration to all of us on a daily basis! Thank you for all you do! We appreciate you! — Beth, Lisa, Freda and Kelly
  • Thanks to all of our amazing MAET and MAET GC learners! We are so appreciative for all the ways in which you care about your students and use your course work to improve your practice to even better support them. You are the reason we do what we do (and love what we do)! — Brittany Dillman
  • A huge shoutout to Mary McConnaha, Andii Layton, and Phoebe Gohs for their commitment and high quality work on the REIDS BS research project funded by WT. Grant and Brady Foundations. Each of them have played critical roles in data collection and analysis of both qualitative and quantitative data. The project explores the impact of implicit bias training on student disciplinary outcomes and they have been attentive to the needs of students, educators, and the PIs. I applaud their efforts. — Bryan Beverly
  • To all of our AMAZING Special Education graduate students: your hard work and dedication is noticed, appreciated and admired! Your passion for educating and supporting all students is so inspiring. Thanks for being EXCEPTIONAL!!  — Erin Hamilton
  • To Nick Hateka and Anthony Dickson: Thank you for your hard work and dedication to making TE430 a better and better course for your students! It is such a pleasure to work/research/learn with you both. — Karenanna Creps

We are proud that you are making a difference in the lives of the athletes you lead! Keep up the great work SCLA students! — Jennifer Roth
