CED Endowed Scholarships/Fellowships
Applications for Endowed Scholarships/Fellowships for current College of Education graduate students are open. Applicants must be enrolled in a graduate program during Spring 2024 and Fall 2024 to receive a scholarship. The application system will close on March 6 at 11:59 p.m.
- All-College Scholarships/Fellowships are open to all CED graduate students, including doctoral, master’s/online master’s, Ed.S. and Ed.D.
- The All-College Restricted Scholarships/Fellowships have a variety of eligibility requirements, including local and international students, students researching specific fields, and students in financial need.
- Departmental Restricted Scholarships/Fellowships are open to students in specific departments and/or programs.

TMSU Playwriting Fellowship
The Transforming MSU Playwriting Fellowship invites students to apply for a year-long experience in which fellows learn about playwriting as a storytelling form and explore ways theatre might activate liberatory transformation at MSU. This is a space that centers community and care and will support you in developing your voice as a writer and change agent. Award: $1,000 stipend. Apply by: March 14. Learn more via MSU IDI
Dr. Lillian M. Lowery Scholarship

This annually awarded national scholarship was established to support a student pursuing a master’s degree in education who embodies a spirit of commitment to furthering opportunities for all students. Award: $15,000. Apply by: March 15. Learn more via PDF
InterExchange Foundation Christianson Fellowship
The Christianson Fellowship provides funding to young Americans and permanent residents between 18 and 28, who are eager to contribute their skills and passions to a community in need abroad. Applicants arrange their own international projects, which must be at least six months, in-person on-site. Award amount: $10,000. Apply by: March 15. Learn more via PDF
Leadership Fellows Program 2024-2025
The Leadership Fellows Program aims to provide graduate and professional students leadership development opportunities through engaging with a diverse community of scholars. Each Fellow will develop and exercise leadership skills by creating a change-oriented project aimed at enhancing graduate student well-being. Award amount: $2,000. Apply by: March 15.
