Colleges Online Learning Academy (COLA) 2024
This summer program provides workshops and professional development around digital teaching and learning, developing your scholarly teaching identity, and inclusion and accessibility. The fellowship mentors participant cohorts through developing deliverables and reflections on your teaching practice. Award: $1,000. Apply by: March 26. Learn more via the Graduate School

RCAH Graduate Fellowships
The Residential College in the Arts and Humanities (RCAH) provides fellowship opportunities for graduate students to develop their capacities to work in a liberal arts college setting within a large research university. There are three fellowship opportunities for the 2024-25 academic year:

  • RCAH Graduate Fellowships in Undergraduate Teaching and Learning
  • RCAH Cultures and Languages across the Curriculum (CLAC) Fellowship Program
  • RCAH Arts and Community Engagement Fellowship Program

Candidates with experience teaching undergraduates, experience working in the fellowship area to which they are applying, and whose work is likely to further RCAH’s mission and vision will be given higher consideration. Apply by: March 26. Learn more via RCAH

Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad Program

This program provides grants to institutions of higher education to fund fellowship awards to doctoral students who conduct research overseas in modern foreign languages and area studies for periods of six to 12 months. Award: $15,000 to $60,000. Apply by: March 29. Learn more via PDF

Urban Community Engagement Fellows
Graduate students with interests in urban community engagement in Lansing are encouraged to apply for this fall-spring semester fellows program. Fellows will engage with community partners in the Greater Lansing area to complete a project in collaboration with MSU. Award: $7,500. Apply by: March 29. Joey M. Spano Varsity ‘S’ Club Graduate Fellowship
The Joey M. Spano, Varsity ‘S’ Club Fellowship is available to MSU Varsity Letter Winners and members of the Varsity ‘S’ Club who have graduated from MSU with a GPA of 3.10 or higher. Applicants must be accepted or pending acceptance into an MSU graduate program and must be enrolled in the semester when receiving funding. Award amount: $4,800.
