Hiram E. Fitzgerald Engaged Scholar Fellowship
Hiram Fitzgerald, Ph.D., was a faculty member in the Department of Psychology who studied the development of infants and very young children. This fellowship supports MSU graduate students in any field of study to enhance their effectiveness in preventing or addressing childhood adversity. Award amount: $1,000. King-Chavez-Parks Future Faculty Fellowship
Attention: Doctoral Students
This program aims to increase the pool of academically or economically disadvantaged candidates pursuing faculty teaching careers in postsecondary education. It is implemented in partnership with the State of Michigan’s Department of Labor and Economic Opportunity (LEO). Award amount: $35,000. Apply by: Feb. 16.Learn more via the Graduate School

CED Endowed Scholarships/Fellowships
Applications for Endowed Scholarships/Fellowships for current College of Education graduate students will open on Feb. 7. Applicants must be enrolled in a graduate program during Spring 2024 and Fall 2024 to receive a scholarship. The application system will close on March 6 at 11:59 p.m.

Future Academic Scholars in Teaching (FAST) Fellowship Program 
Attention: Doctoral Students
The FAST Fellowship Program aims to offer mentored teaching experiences and familiarize doctoral students with teaching and assessment techniques. It’s open to doctoral students in various programs associated with specific colleges or departments or those with approved Certification in College Teaching Programs. Award amount: $5,000.
