A celebration of recent achievements by College of Education grad students: 

  • Cherish Sarmiento (Special Education Ph.D.) was selected as one of 10 scholars to the Council for Exceptional Children, Division of Research, Doctoral Student Scholars program, based on the high quality of her proposed dissertation study
  • Jakaira (JK) Lynn(M.A in Student Affairs Administration) was recently featured on Channel 6 News last Monday on Martin Luther King Jr. Day and spoke about the annual MLKJ March at MSU that she helped organize this year
  • Laxmi Prasad Ojha (CITE Ph.D.) published a paper in the journal “Educational Philosophy and Theory” that covers decolonization in higher education pedagogy. The paper is titled: Decolonizing higher education pedagogy: Insights from critical, collaborative professionalism in practice. Educational Philosophy and Theory.
