Fall 2023 College of Education Doctoral Convocation: Register to Participate

Doctoral students planning to graduate this semester: The College of Education will celebrate your accomplishments at the Doctoral Convocation (hooding ceremony) on Dec. 15 at 1 p.m. in the Erickson Hall KIVA. Candidates who meet the following Fall 2023 eligibility requirements can participate:

  • Ph.D. candidates must have defended their dissertation or have a dissertation defense scheduled no later than Dec. 31, 2023
  • Ed.D. and Ed.S. candidates must plan to complete all program requirements before Dec. 31, 2023

Signing up to participate in this ceremony is a two-step process:

  1. Sign up to participate via Qualtrics.
  2. After you submit your Qualtrics questionnaire, it will route to your program advisor for approval

Both the candidate’s questionnaire and the advisor’s approval need to be completed by Friday, Nov. 17, 2023. If you do not receive a confirmation email within one week of submitting your application, please contact Carrie Oney (cretenca@msu.edu) in the Office of Academic and Student Affairs.
