AERA-NSF Grants Program
The AERA-NSF Grants Program offers Dissertation and Research Grants to graduate students and scholars using large-scale data for STEM education research, aiming to advance STEM policy knowledge, promote equity and enhance research capacity. The program focuses on advanced statistical analysis of U.S. Department of Education data, international data systems, and statewide longitudinal administrative data systems. Proposals from various disciplines are encouraged. Learn more via the American Educational Research Association (AERA) and apply by Nov. 20.

  • AERA Dissertation Grants AERA offers competitive one-year Dissertation Grants to advanced doctoral students for their research using large-scale data sets. These grants provide professional development, training and networking opportunities. Award Amount: $27,500
  • AERA Research Grants AERA provides small grants for faculty members, postdoctoral researchers, and other doctoral-level scholars to undertake quantitative research using data from large-scale data sets. The selection process is competitive. Award Amount: $35,000

Quarter-Time Research Assistant Position
Dr. Jiahang Li, principal investigator of the Technology Facilitated Chinese Language Teaching (TFCLT) Project, funded by the U.S. Department of Education, is seeking a part-time graduate research assistant. Responsibilities include attending meetings, assisting with research activities, managing documents and supporting team communications. View position description via PDF. Graduate Research Assistantship for the College of Nursing  
The MSU College of Nursing is hiring a part-time (50%) graduate research assistant to support various projects. Responsibilities include data collection, literature management, administrative tasks and more. Applicants must have Microsoft Suite and EndNote experience, and be available for 20 hours per week. MSU Youth Equity Project Seed Grant 
The MSU Youth Equity Project Faculty and Graduate Student Seed Grants will help to fund the initiation or continuation of a research project on social disparities among marginalized youth that reflects and/or advances the mission and aims of the Youth Equity Project. Physical Activity and Healthy Eating Clinical Trial Intervention Delivery Fellowship
This fellowship will provide a graduate student in a health-related program the opportunity to gain experience with physical activity and healthy eating trials, including trials funded by the National Institutes of Health and foundation funding. Health Promotion: Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Program Graduate Student Employee  
The AOD Program Graduate Student Employee will work on a dynamic team focused on improving campus health. Responsibilities include implementing initiatives to reduce alcohol and drug-related harms and promoting innovative health practices. Apply by: Nov. 20. Learn more via The Graduate School 

University Health and Wellbeing: Graduate Student Coordinator for the Student Wellbeing Activator Network (SWAN)
