- Summer Research Fellowship (SRF) Info Session, Oct. 19, 12 to 1 p.m. Audience: Doctoral students in their second year & beyond, but not yet at the dissertation stage (view fellowship details). Register to attend info session via Zoom
- Summer Research Development (SRDF) Info Session, Nov. 27, 1 to 2 p.m. Audience: Doctoral students in their first year, unless already funded via University Distinguished or Enrichment Fellowships (view fellowship details). Register to attend via Zoom
The Boren Fellowship
The Boren Fellowship provides up to $25,000 of funding for language study abroad. Nomination is required. Interested students should contact studentawards@msu.edu for questions and feedback. Graduate students interested in learning about the Boren Awards can attend an in-person event on Oct. 19 at 4 p.m. (216 Bessey Hall, registration not required) to meet with a Boren Awards representative. Graduate Research Assistantship for the College of Nursing
The MSU College of Nursing is hiring a part-time (50%) graduate research assistant to support various projects. Responsibilities include data collection, literature management, administrative tasks, and more. Applicants must have Microsoft Suite and EndNote experience, and be available for 20 hours per week. Graduate Student Award for Science Communication and Outreach

Critical Language Scholarships
The Critical Language Scholarships (CLS) provide funding for the study of less commonly taught languages. The CLS program partners with universities and nonprofits around the globe to provide cohorts of U.S. students an opportunity to study the language and culture in a country/location where the target language is commonly spoken.
