MSU’s Master’s, Educational Specialist and Doctoral Degree Commencement Ceremony was held on Friday, May 2 at the Breslin Student Events Center.

Michigan State University hosted a ceremony for College of Education baccalaureate (bachelor's) graduates on Sunday, May 4 at 10 a.m. at the Breslin Student Events Center.

Ceremonies typically last two hours. Admission tickets are not required. Please refer to the Commencement website for additional details and updated information.

Doctoral Convocation

At the end of each semester, the MSU College of Education hosts a Doctoral Convocation (hooding ceremony) for candidates who have completed their programs of study. The ceremony, in addition to university Commencement activities, serves as a special recognition for those obtaining their doctoral degree(s) from the College of Education.

The College of Education hosted in-person Doctoral Convocations (Hooding Ceremonies) in the Erickson Hall Kiva on Saturday, May 3 to celebrate our graduates.
