    Congratulations Daniel Roberts, a 2013 graduate of the Educational Policy program who will receive the Gill Chin Lim Award for Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation in Global Studies. His dissertation, titled, Diversity of Opinion in the Face of Prevailing Practices: Schooling and School Cultivation in Two Tanzanian Villages, is a valuable and fascinating study of the role and potential of school-based gardens in rural eastern African communities. His dissertation was chaired by Professor Emeritus John (Jack) Schwille.
