Global Educators Program Featured in International Educator for May-June 09 Issue

Global Educators Cohort Program featured in context of teaching global perspectives through curriculum innovations, education abroad, new technologies, language immersion, and other valuable experiences.

Join Our Program

MSU Teacher Education department featured among Edutopia’s 10 leading schools.

The Global Educators Cohort Program (GECP) prepares future teachers who are committed to becoming Global Educators.

Global Educators:

  • Bring the world to their students.
  • Prepare students to be global citizens.
  • Educate for success in 21st Century classrooms.
  • Teach in classrooms with children from around the world.

GECP Students:

  • Study together as a cohort in special, “global” sections of teacher education courses and special GECP courses.
  • Participate in GECP extra-curricular and social activities, service-learning experiences, and support global causes through global action projects and volunteering.
  • Take advantage of the many opportunities to study, travel, or teach abroad!
  • Work with children beginning your freshman year.
