Multi-Tiered Systems of Support

Michigan State University’s programs in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) answers a growing and critical need in our schools: developing and enhancing advocates to support the needs of all students. The programs will help prepare aspiring leaders in elementary and secondary schools to gain expertise and experience to make a lasting impact by addressing the academic and behavioral needs of students and support school-based programs.

School and student leaders

With a Graduate Certificate in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support or a Master of Arts degree in Special Education Leadership: Multi-Tiered Systems of Support, Spartans will become expert champions in finding and enacting educational and behavioral systems that support all students.

Graduates will be prepared to address whole school, small group and individual needs with personalized plans of action to better serve learners.
