
Kudos to Zhiru Sun – a doctoral candidate in learning technology. She was awarded funding to present at the 3rd annual learning science workshop held in Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA on June 14-15th, 2014. The topic of the presentation was “The effect of Internet self-efficacy on students’ blogging performances”. The study investigated the relationship between students’ blogging performances and the five dimensions of the Internet self-efficacy: communication, search, differentiation, organization, and generation. The results showed that the generation dimension, the most complex level of Internet activity, had significantly positive effect on students’ blogging performances.
