University Distinguished Professor of education Robert Floden will be part of a panel discussing Gov. Rick Snyder’s education reform proposals on www.freepopinion.com at noon Tuesday, May 3. The live web chat, called Tuesday Talk, will focus on what hurdles the governor must face to make his education plan a reality.

Besides Floden, co-director of the Education Policy Center at MSU, participants will include Nate Walker of the teachers’ union AFT Michigan, Peter Spadafore, assistant director of government relations at the Michigan Association of School Boards and Randy Liepa, superintendent of Livonia Public Schools.
