Dwi Yuliantoro, a Ph.D. candidate in Teacher Education, has won the Homer Higbee International Education Award. The Homer Higbee International Education Award Fund was established to honor the memory of Homer Higbee, who dedicated his professional life to international education exchange during the 25 years he worked in the Office of International Studies and Programs at Michigan State University. This award is designed to recognize international students at the undergraduate and graduate level who demonstrate the characteristics that Homer Higbee represented. These characteristics include making significant contributions to the support of international awareness at Michigan State University.
Dwi was nominated for this award for his engagement in the Global Educators Cohort Program, LATTICE, recruitment of other students from Indonesia (his home country) among other things.
