Beatrice Lee is an assistant professor in the Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology and Special Education. Her research focuses on malleable risk and protective factors that can help people with chronic health conditions and disabilities, such as multiple sclerosis or epilepsy, deal more effectively with stress. She is interested in exploring the extent protective psychosocial factors can reduce vulnerability to experiencing stress, and foster health and well-being. Her goal is to further inform the development and validation of positive psychology-based, stress management interventions to improve community participation and the quality of life for people with neurological and psychiatric conditions.
