“As a college with an established reputation for excellence and visionary thinking, I am very pleased to see five scholars featured in this year’s list,” said College of Education Dean and MSU Foundation Professor of Education Jerlando F. L. Jackson. “This recognition acknowledges the wide reach of their work that is helping shape the future of education.”

A panel of 33 educational scholars and leaders from various institutions across the U.S. selected the scholars based on a number of factors, including Google Scholar scores and mentions in educational and mainstream press. The goal was to identify influential higher education faculty who conduct research in the field of education.
