Three MSU ed scholars named top influencers

sparty-closeupThis year, the College of Education at Michigan State University is home to three of the nation’s scholars doing the most to influence educational policy and practice. That is according to the Edu-Scholar Public Influence Rankings published annually by Rick Hess in his Education Week blog.

The top-200 ranking of education scholars is based on a rubric that reflects each person’s body of work and their impact on the public discourse last year.

The MSU faculty members noted for 2017 are:

Several former MSU College of Education faculty members also are on the Public Presence list, such as Yong Zhao, Richard Elmore, Deborah Ball, David Cohen, Andrew Porter, Nell Duke, Ron Zimmer, David Labaree and Ernest Morrell. Okhee Lee and Chris Lubienski, alumni of MSU, are also on the list.
