The performance of each research graduate assistant must be evaluated at least annually by the faculty director of the research team. These evaluations will be based upon fulfilling the duties of the assistantship, compliance with research ethics policies and regulations, and professional demeanor. Research assistants are subject to the KIN Guidelines on Student/Faculty Collaboration in Research.

Directions for Research Assistant (RA) Evaluation: To start the evaluation process for this form, the research advisor sets up a meeting with the RA to discuss what the RA is doing well, areas for improvement, and providing suggestions for future reference. After this discussion, the research advisor submits the RA Evaluation Form. After completion of this form, a copy will be sent to the research advisor, the RA, and academic advisor (if applicable).
