UECP and GECP program participation is made visible on a student’s transcript when he or she is recommended for certification following the internship. Students must meet all UECP/GECP program requirements, including a program-specific internship placement.
The College of Education awards scholarship funds to an incoming freshman who has been admitted to Michigan State University and intends to pursue teacher certification in elementary, secondary or special education through participation in UECP or GECP.
