As an MSU undergrad, when should I apply for admission to the teacher preparation program?

September 16, 2016

Generally, students apply during the Fall Semester of their sophomore year. However, applicants can apply as juniors (56 credits or more), and it may be possible for them to accelerate their teacher preparation programs. If an applicant has 56 or more credits, they should meet with their major advisor and consider completing an Acceleration Grid. Additional instructions are included on the Acceleration Grids.  To be considered for an accelerated program, the Acceleration Grid must be submitted in 134 Erickson Hall by the deadline published in the application instructions. Please see Applications and Admissions for more information.
