One 3 credit Qualitative Research Methods Course
One 3 credit Advanced Research Methods Course (could include CEP933 below)
EAD/TE995 Research Practicum (no syllabus, independent work)

Required Concentration Course:

EAD949 Advanced Seminar in Education Policy (this course will be a rotating topics course and can be taken more than once provided the topics are different)
Plus 9 additional disciplinary or policy studies credits (3 classes) in a concentration area, determined with student's Guidance Committee, to provide compentence in a specialized area of research
