Josie Sebastian

Josie Sebastian is a nationally certified sign language interpreter. She is a graduate of Lansing Community College's Sign Language Interpreter Program, where she is now an adjunct faculty member. Josie works as a video interpreter for Sorenson, as well as a freelance interpreter in her community. She holds a bachelor degree from Siena Heights University and is currently enrolled in the Higher, Adult and Lifelong Education graduate program at Michigan State University.

Lola Lawal

Lola Lawal graduated with her bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Michigan. She currently works full-time as the student services coordinator for the Office of Student Services and Enrollment Management at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. While working full time, Lola is also taking courses towards a master’s degree in the HALE program. Her educational interests are related to higher education policy, college access and student success in higher education.

Aaron Tucker

Aaron Tucker graduated with his bachelor's degree in communication from Michigan State University in 2010. He currently works full-time as an undergraduate academic advisor for Michigan State University. While working full time, Aaron is also taking courses towards his master's degree in the Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education program and plans to graduate fall 2016. Aaron is the first in his family to attend college and pursue a graduate degree. Aaron's educational interests are related to first generation college students, undersevered students, programming and student success & retention in higher education. In his free time, Aaron enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, canoeing, kayaking and camping!
