Language and Culture Summer Camp
CI-MSU Language and Culture Summer Camp offers one week of Chinese language and culture activities to K-6 students in the greater Lansing area. This non-profit summer camp is for children who are interested in learning Chinese, creating Chinese arts and crafts, experiencing Chinese culture and traditions, and making friends. No previous experience with Chinese language is necessary. Through the camp, students increase their multicultural competence by engaging in interactive, fun, and educational activities provided by professional camp teachers. Students are grouped based upon age and previous Chinese experience.

A mother of a six-year old camper said: I can tell that she really enjoys the experience in the summer camp. She was excited to go to the camp everyday and proud that she was learning Chinese. It has been a few months since the summer camp, but she is still practicing the language. As a mother, I am happy that my child had this interesting experience and became more aware about the Chinese culture.
