About Rehabilitation Counseling




Welcome to the Rehabilitation Counseling program at Michigan State University. Ranked as the number one rehabilitation counseling program in the United States by U.S. News & World Report, this unique, specialized program prepares counselors to have the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed to collaborate in a professional relationship with people who have disabilities.

Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling

The master's degree program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), and provides a strong foundation in the profession and practice of rehabilitation counseling. Ph.D. Degree in Rehabilitation Counselor Education

The doctoral program in Rehabilitation Counselor Education is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP), and is designed to prepare individuals for careers as university-level educators and researchers in the rehabilitation counseling profession.
